Combined Liability
Exceptional cover, exclusively from iNdemnity360
Working as a freelance contractor, it will often be a requirement of your contract that you have Public Liability Insurance and Employers Liability Insurance - especially if you work at client sites. It is also possible that your contract will require you to have specific clauses in your insurance policy, such as Indemnity to Principals, Hold Harmless and Waiver of Subrogation and the right to substitute.
Our Combined Liability policy includes both Public Liability and Employers Liability as standard, and we also include the specific clauses you are likely required to have, and we do that as standard.
In addition to the liability insurance, our policy automatically gives you £5,000 cover for business equipment at the risk address (the address we have on file for you) and £1,000 cover for portable equipment anywhere within the UK. These levels of cover can be increased as needed and can cover can be provided within the UK, Europe or Worldwide.
Our policy can be extended to cover any work you do offshore, as well as any incidental manual work you do. For the avoidance of doubt, this excludes the installation of IT hardware or software but DOES include the type of work expected of an electrical contractor e.g. re-wiring an office.
